Hi s15oc I was directed over here by a member of Civic Type-R owners who said you maybe interested.

Well I hail from www.aceimageuk.com and we specialise in mainly car graphics and decals although do a few other bits too.

Here is a gallery of some of our recent work

The reason I have dropped by is that craig (not sure of his name on here) said you guys might be interested in our new carbon fibre look wrapping vinyl. I can't give a definate price just yet until I have seen the dash itself but he is currently sending me his one so I can wrap and return to him. Depending of if there is much call for it on here I would be happy to try and find a s15 dash so that we can do a swap whereby I send you a pre wrapped dash and then you fit and send me your old one back. Meaning your not left without a dash. Otherwise when I can measure the dash up I will be able to offer a supply only whereby you fit the vinyl yourself and save a considerable amount.

The vinyl is a dry unlaquered look and is the best available of its kind. It has a textured feel to it and is a true wrapping vinyl nothing like usual vinyl.

heres some pics of some recent civic type-r dashs I have done and my s13 dash.

Pricing and information for s15 centre trim is on post #17

Forgot to add this on here. I can sell the vinyl by the metre, it is listed on our website here if you enter s15oc15 in the coupon box we will give 15% discount for s15oc members ;)

If you have any further question please feel free to fire away.
Lex

Good to see you over here mate :) I'll be sending my dash surround to you on Monday.

A while ago, dash surrounds wrapped in a CF vinyl were available in a kind of groupbuy and they were quite popular. I think they ended up costing around £160 each..? - http://forum.s15oc.com/showthread.php?t=2363&highlight=console&page=1

Good luck anyway mate :)

Thanks, This won't work out at £160. As a rough guide I do the civic type-r dash trims for £65 fitted delivered or £25 for material supply and you fit it. Otheriwse I can supply a metre of the material for £45 and you can wrap away till your hearts content :smitten:

Hi Lex - I'm deffo interested esp if you guys are able to wrap stuff I send you and then send it back to me :)

Can you leave a contact number on here or via PM as the link to your website on first post is not working for me?!

I would like to get my centre console and gear surround wrapped in carbon vinyl and also maybe a new spark plug cover which should arrive as part of group buy if I don't attempt this myself lol... I did spend a long time looking to buy a genuine CF centre console from EP Racing but for £160... forget that!!!

Cheers,

James

^^ I think there was a little confusion surrounding my original post. What I meant was there was a GB on this forum a while ago for wrapped dash surrounds (replacement, not exchange) and they were around £160, and this is the same stuff for a lot less money! Sorry about that.

hi mate, my dash is a little scratched up and i wondered what sort of time period it would take to wrap one? the thing is, i could have the dash out of the car and bring it up to you but would like to know if its the sort of thing you could do from start to finish in say a whole day? if this is possible then i'm quite happy to be the test mule and come on up, can even help out with it to the point of not getting in your way - all provided this stuff really does look the part :)

OK I come with news. I have now done LuPix dash and am more aware of what it needed to be done. Providing the dash is prepped to the below before I recieve then I can do the stereo surround trim at £65 wrapped and delivered. The gear stick surround if done at the same time will be an extra £8 or £15 delivered if on its own without the stereo surround at the same time.

The prepping
My guess would be that this was applied to stop the panels moving and so there is a snug fit, Nissan seem have glued felt around the edges of all trims. This will be very aparrent when you remove the panels. I will need this to be removed before it is sent in to me. It's easy but just takes abit of time. Do not worry about removing every bit of the glue I will be giving it a wipe over prior to wrapping with meths which I don't mind spending a few extra minutes to polish this off. The felt does need to be totally removed however. The reason being that it is far better for me to wrap right over onto these edges than trying to cut close to where it will be visible.

If for whatever reason you can't do this, then I will remove the felt but it will be at a price of £20 for the stereo surround and £7.50 for the gear stick surround. I would really rather not do this though, but the offer is there if you don't fancy it. :p

Do not worry, when I removed this, wrapped and fitted the gear stick surround back onto the stereo surround it is still a very nice snug fit as the vinyl pads out the gap instead.

I think that is all, if there is any further questions please fire away, sorry I didn't get a picture of LuPix's while I had it hopefully he will be kind enough to shoot one when he has refitted the dash in all its glory. :)

I would say only a few days tbh. I try turn this around asap, but if you gave yourself a week then you will get it sooner than expected

I couldn't really offer for you to come over and wait, it can take a good few hours and that would be providing there is clear run where I can focus purely on the dash. More than likely I will start and come back to it throughout a day or next day. Having now done a s15 dash they do look simple but there is a fair bit of time needed to stretch into the button surrounds, I would be far more comfortable and less under pressure being able to take my time than rushing because someone is waiting .

sweet will be intouch
Not a problem :)

Could you show a pic and highlight the part you mean. Is it the part with the cup holders?
