Hey Mint,

If you log onto our website at www.bioperformanceuk.com, click on the link Pump Locations in the main menu to find your closest pump.

It's worth noting that when running this conversion you are able to run on normal petrol when you can't get hold of E85, they are rolling out new locations all the time and the availability will become even more widespread over the next year or so.

There is a pump located within five minutes of Santa Pod, so ideal if you need more power for the drag strip! :thumbs:

I was considering converting mine shortly after JP converted his S14a. However, there isn't a pump in a 100 mile radius of my house, and I'm in the south of England. I notice that there haven't been any new ones since I looked... And you're stuffed if you live in the north or Scotland...or Wales...

I've also considered this, but need to change injectors first and I'm not sure how well the walbro pump is up to the task of pumping E85.
There have been some reports of failure here in Sweden. Seems like external pumps are recommended for E85.

I would also need to have 2 maps as E85 converting is illegal here in Sweden so far.

But it's great for you UK guys if you can get E85 :thumbs:
Over here it's almost in every gas station nowadays.

Laws aren't up to date.
I think that there are ways to convert legally, but it needs to be done by special approved companies and cost like ?2-3k.

E85 cars sell pretty good here, like SAAB biopower, Volvo flexifuel, Toyota prius and so on. They don't need to pay for parking in the city core (about ?10-20 a day) and they don't need to pay the newly installed "crowding tax" which is payed everytime you drive into the city and funilly enough when you drive out too :wack:
Doesn't matter if they only use regular gasoline in the tank. they are considered to be enviromental friendly cars at all times :wack:

Just a matter of time really untill the will get taxed to death like all the other cars. The government still needs their money and when there is to many enviromental friendly cars. They'll probobly remove the benefits.

That sounds great but there are no pump locations near me,good octane level though but if you want to increase octane and performance just get some water injection,that will sort it and it has other benefits too.How much does the conversion to Bioethanol cost?

New Pumps

We are working closely with Morrisons and will be updating our pump locations list as new forecourts open or old ones have the E85 pumps installed, as far as I have been made aware they will be opening three more pumps very soon, one more in wales, one in the north and one in Scotland. As soon as we are told that they have opened the pumps for business we will update and confirm locations, contact details etc..

With regards to buying drums of the stuff, I shall contact Harvest Fuels, the manufacturer of the E85 supplys and ask the question! Otherwise all I can suggest is that you fill up a jerry can or two when you get the chance.

If any of you guys are gonna be at the Japshow this weekend, we've got a stand there, so pop in and say hello! Unfortunately the Silvia isn't finished at the bodyshop so won't make the show.....

Hi Paul,

E85 in my local forecourt at Wellingborough is 91.9p at the moment, as far as I'm aware the price is different between forecourts, but will usually be 2p cheeper than regular unleaded petrol.

that seems quite steep. in ireland the E85 tend to be about 15-25 cent cheaper than unleaded dependin on the individual maxol station

@ Silverstreak: Have you any comparative dyno figures (from the same dyno obviously) of any car running this kit?

The reason I ask is because although the Full Flex may change the injector timing to allow more E85 get pumped in than would be the case with petrol, I'm not convinced that it changes your ignition timing which is where you will see any performance benefit from E85.

If it doesn't change your timing you're just paying more money for a fuel that doesn't take you as far as petrol does (fewer miles to the tank due to a lower calorific value than petrol) & the price in the UK doesn't even begin to offset that mileage difference by the looks of it. :|

The closest pump to me is Liverpool so such a conversion would be out of the question for me ATM.

Hi, we are currently testing a new digital kit on the car, which will involve some dyno work with a well known Nissan Specialist, this will enable us do do some R&D regarding engine setup to produce as much power and drivability as we can running a realitively standard SR20DET. I will post some comparative dyno figures very soon, watch this space!
