Hi, I've been on this site a few weeks now, so I thought I'd say hello.

I'm looking to get an S15 Spec-R around Christmas so I'm on here doing all the research before I get it!

I currently drive a black Civic coupe, which will be for sale soon if anyone wants a cheap runaround?

I've sent enquiries off to Torque-Imports (after various recommendations from people, including from here!) and they said they're currently sourcing some more. I want a blue one!

Any others on here from London / South east area? I saw a black one at the local jap meet and fell in love. I'm sure my insurance company will love me too!

well i would say u'vr come to the right place to get informatiojn about an S15 hehe...anything u need to know and what to look out for feel free to ask questions and we will all try our best to help u out

It certainly was!

I've seen a few posts on it, but I haven't got 16k up front!

Me being a student, I'm gonna have to get a small amount of finance when I find one I want! I'll have about 9 or 10k up front and the rest will have to be paid off over time!

I saw your car though, looks LOVELY! :notworthy: If I summon up the courage, I might come over to the SXOC people some time and have a chat!

I don't want another black car, been there and done that one! I find that black doesn't show up the car's lines in photos etc, and I had problems cleaning my civic in the sun! (Not that there's too much sun over here though.

)

As I thought, I'm getting massively stung on insurance now that I've lost my 3 years no claims due to a slight mishap on the motorway 4 months ago. Elephant want me to pay something in the region of ?1700 a year!

Oh well, it might be worth it!

I guess the ringing around game starts. I've got 4 months to find a better deal though, but I think it'll be hard going!

All the insurance companies you normally use for cheap insureance like Elephant etc will be very expensive for the S15 :nod:, you need a specialist likes of Adrain Flux, A-Plan etc. Like Nicely said there is a sticky somewhere
