A nice standard spec example there... :p

Let me know how you get on with the Knock Link. Couldn't get mine, not its replacment, to work. Thor replaced it with a KnockLite.

Pictures of course... as for the second point... I think it would be akin to pouring trying to extinguish a small fire with a large tank of petrol..

I'll let you know Tom, but I did have another crazy idea of sticking it in an old old RWD lada "kopeyka"... would be a good sleeper - then again I think jumping on the throttle would just cause the car to turn turtle :)

Real question is how I'dship the engine to Ireland... :(

UPDATE: No longer auto

Well.. today was a good day... no more slushbox :)

It is like driving a completely different car. The 5m/t with the auto differential takes off quite quickly.. I think the 1 piece driveshaft also makes a noticeable difference.. No more 'gently gently' off the line.. :) :)

Not a difficult project in practice.. but a lot of things were a real pain in the proverbial... things that should take minutes took hours.. then lots of bits weren't right. Easiest thing was redoing the electrical part which was the bit I was more worried about.

Can't wait until the next phase of my 'fairly rapid spec S' is completed :)

Great looking car you have there! Can I ask your opinion on the Yokohama DNA GP's? Not the most favorable tire in Japan, but still very good!

they aren't Yokohama's - it is difficult to find them in Russia at a 'reasonable' price... these are goodyear F1s.

How long has the S15 been of the road?
Since early summer :( :(

It's not really 'on the road' right now as I only have summer tires and winter has finally set in here... I think I'll wait another couple of weeks before driving again... Mrs Elizium is not keen on me shelling out on winter tires at the end of winter!!

For those of you following my engine buildup.. here are the most recent pictures:
As you can see from the pictures the rocker arm stopper's aren't fitted - that's because this isn't finally assembly. Engine cleaned up quite nicely though ;)

quality of pictures is not so good.. but not dreadful. I'll hopefully have some more pictures shortly.
