Thought I?d post my ride here as well.

It?s a Spec R that seem to have been driven hard on racetracks around japan.

Here is the current spec list:

HKS Coilovers
HKS Air filter
Greddy Racing Intercooler
HPI Stainless exhaust manifold
HPIFront pipe
TRUST e-manage Ultimate
LSD
KOYO Alminium Radiator
Blitz Boost controler
Z32 AFM
T28BB

There are some plans for it this winter:

Engine check
Some paint in engine bay etc
A few engine mods
Injectors
Power FC

I will put updates in here as soon as something new happens.

Nice :)

Needs an engine wash badly though.

You forgot the most important engine mod.
Nismo oil cap ;)

Also looks like you have a strange looking aftermarket BOV.
First blue one in Sweden as far as i know.
The white Work wheels looks very good with the blue.

I think Nicely should get white Cr kai's too :)

First order of business Engine overhaul. It?s in perfect running condition however as it probably have been pushed pretty hard and it looked like the engine never had been opened i thought it would give me peace of mind by doing this.

So I through it out of the car and in to the work shop.

As we speak the engine is completely disassembled and some parts are at powder coat and the block and head is left to an enginebuilder for cleaning etc.

when I took of the oilpan I noticed that the engine infact had been opened before. The cylinders was newly surfaced. So I?m dreading that the crank shaft have been polished. I will measure it later before I order new bearings.

Damn you are fast

Thanks for the comment.

The entire engine bay will e repainted before i put the engine back.
The guys at the Factory thought it was a good idea to paint the engine bay in a solid color. However I don?t;)

BTW I?m wondering if someone here knows where to buy the M-sport front bumper? I have googled lika an idiot without result.

In Europe maybe driftworks or apex performance can help out.
Or you can order directly from Japan. there is a thread in the useful threads section with japanese web-shops.

While I?m waiting for the quotation from the engine builder I?m finishing up as many parts as I can before i get the block and head back.

This weekend I wrapped the manifold and downpipe and took the turbo appart to check condition and polish the compressor housing.

Man this is harder than it looks.

Came out nice though

Mint: Yes I?m taking control of the situation :D

I got the estimate from the engine builder today. And I must say that
it sucked!

It turns out that some of the exhaust valveguides are worn and
all 8 needs to be replaced.
I have to say that I should have seen this coming as the
exhaust side rocker arms was a tad worn also.

But I?m also glad that I did this renovation now so I don?t have
any issues in the middle of the season.

Mean while I?m soldiering on with the engine parts that I still have
at home. Pics will be posted as the work goes on. I might be able to make an update tonight.

Managed to get som work done this weekend.
Mainly time consumiming small stuff that no one notice.

The turbo compressorhousing is polished and the brackets and wastegate sandblasted and painted with heat treated paint.

Washed most of the parts that are not away for powder coat.

Last but not least I sandblasted the rocker cover and sprayed it with some TV3

Well that pick was right after the first coat of paint. This is after it was sanded in between 3 coats and 2 coats of clearcoat.

I?m pretty satisfied with it. I will sand the letters when the paint is fully set.
Today I will clean and polish the ic, radiator and all tubing.
The goal for this week is to finish all the parts that will go on to the motor and start stripping the car for paint.

Yakozan: Do it. I think it?s going to make a lot of difference.

I need some advice from you guys. I have taken the headlights apart now to convert them for right hand traffic. Should i paint the internal blue or should I tint the glass yellow?

though call. The tint could always be removed. But the paint inside might be trickier to get off.

Personally I say tint. Painting the inside blue would hide the shapes of the S15 light too much.

A yellow tint might actually look pretty good. Like DTM cars :)
I think we need a photoshop ;)

Well I believe youre right. However I could not find yellow tint anywhere in Sweden and not on Ebay. Does anybody knows who sells yellow tint?
Also I just got a call from my engine builder and they told me that they could not get any valve stem seals for the car.
Is it possible to get them in Europe or do I have to ship them here from Japan? Are they different from the S14 ones?

I would imagine you would be cheaper getting from Japan. Well we in the UK would, but you may have import taxes etc i'm not aware of.

Rocker cover looks good , also, i'd go for the blue inside the light, as i havent seen that done before. But, if it doesnt come out good, i dont want to be blamed! :D

No worries I will not blame you:D I still haven?t made upp my mind about it though.

However I picked up my parts from powder coating. They look really good. Will post some picks when I start putting the engine together. I hope I the engine is finished not this week but the one after.

Right now the car is slowly being stripped down.
