S15 alarm?

Hi All,

I'm looking at upgrading the standard immobiliser that came with my aus spec s15...

I just need to confirm a few things.

1. how many point(s) immobiliser the s15 have? 1 or 2? my owners manual don't specify any thing about "NATS" nissan anti-theft system??

2. does a standard s15 have an alarm? I opened the door without using the remote central locking and all it did was the parking lights just keept flashing :eek:

This is one for the Aussies, as the JDM S15s had no NATS.

However, if its anything like NATS2, which was fitted to the Euro S14a, its an alarm and immobiliser. The NATS2 system is actually quite good and meets UK Thatcham Catagory 1 approval, which is the maximum security standard and quite comprehensive. NATS1, fitted to the S14, also meets the same standard.
