Id have a guess at the usual VVT rattle, however i dont have the issue so couldnt say for sure but i bet theres plenty of people who will soon confirm :)

listen for the tappet style noise that disappears when reving beyond 2500ish+

As you can see in the above video the noise almost completly goes when slowly reved.

Could be a gasket going.
Does the sound only appear when the engine is cold? Only on idle or across the rev range?

Mint thats the same noise as mine. I have posted a message but no replies:( its the tappets/cam followers they need to be replaced and if they are slightly concaved on the bottom you will probably have to change the cams as well,now you need to find somewhere they sells them for a good price and let me know:wack:.my sound goes quieter when its revved higher a typical follower trait.
