    when i had mine on when i was like reversing and on the biting point the car just seems to rattle like hell didnt like it at all looks damn good tho

    The nature of damper means that it will transmit some vibration through the body. However, compare how much the top of the engine moves when you rev it without the damper and with it fitted...

    It could also have been that you hadn't adjusted it properly...

    I thought these dampers where a bad idea due to excess stress on the strut top?

    Having read up on NS.com, I'm happy that there isn't undue stress. Particulaly if there is a strut brace reinforcing the two struts.

    My terminals are reversed. The carpet is just a precaution to insulate the live terminal

    I have it on very good authority (as in tried and tested) that protecting the brake lines from tubular manifold heat makes a dramatic difference to eliminating brake fade from the heat...
