Thanks for the comments. I love them! And they are SO bright compared to crappy plug-in LED bulbs AND standard bulbs. Only received them Wednesday, but Mike at Clearcorners came through and met my Japfest deadline. He's been brilliant through the entire process and even had a set of lights they could work on to save time in sending him a set (hence why I have a spare set for sale! :p ).

Was in a panic when, while doing a few little modding jobs, I managed to fry both the demister circuit AND the sidelight circuit in the combination meter. Thanks to the guys at Euro Auto Salvage in Northern Ireland, I received a 2nd hand unit on Friday!! They'd spent much of Wednesday searching Ireland for one for me :notworthy:

Nice work!

Looks like you're fast mate!

How long did it take after you send in yours before you receive them?

Is your Highbeam still halogen? Or the clearcorner folks have something special for highbeam?

Did you not converted your side makers as well?

Will it affect you using the sidelight as the source to triger your HIDs?

I didn't send them mine. They happened to have a set they were using for documenting and offered them to me to save time. It was about a month from them receiving payment till me getting them :) They don't rush jobs.

Highbeams are still halogen, but with very good HIR bulbs. They aren't fans of aftermarket HIDs and have offered to change the optics one mine if I ever want that. That will make them the same as OEM HID optics.

Sidemarkers are the same as before. Didn't think it was worth the change. May ask them about sorting a set of Wisesquare tails for me though...

The HIDs still take a trigger from the sides. I simply moved it onto the loom before the connector :)

i wish i'd have known where the SXOC stand was, cause i'd really have liked to see them in person. i guess, it's cause reflections on the light lense is amplified in a picture.

Its nearly always in the same place: right behind the Avon Tyre bridge at Camp Corner, Gate A. 100 cars and the CarBQ, not easy to miss if you wander up to the end :D

oh balls, didn't quite make it to the back part of that area, saw lots of accords right down by the avon bridge, and then lots of Z32's up between the 2 cafes, but didn't wander to the further cafe. :(

I'm REALLY liking "the mother" of all bbq's!!! :D

You were so close. If you'd walked beside Merlin to the back of the 300ZX lot, you'd have stumbled on the CarBQ!

Did Clearcorners elobrate on the differences the S15's HID and non HID optics and the effect it makes on the ilumination aspect?

I could still get a set of new HID headlamps but I have to figure out the wiring route of the stock HID and it would be tough to get the other end of the HID's connectors with pigtails.
