Hi all!

I'm quite new here and just wanna start to write my own project thread of my silvia :) Love this forum, because there is so much infos and tips for me and my silvia.

First if anyone is intressed, here is my introduction http://forum.s15oc.com/showthread.php?t=4337

*Chapter 1 - Search for perfect Silvia*

I has always been keen on cars, especially japanese rwd ones. I have planned to get S15 in late 2009 and it was time to do something if I really wanted one.
I chose Mamasan (http://www.mamasan.fi) to get me that car I wanted.
They have import many cars from Japan and I wanted some professionals.

At 28.9.2009 we started looking Silvia S15 Spec-R, year 2000, under 100,000km, white one with atleast Aero-front bumber.
Mikko from Mamasan suggested 4-5 different cars and I decline them for something that I didn't like.

After a month and few days Mikko suggested this 1999 white silvia which looked great, but was missing that Aero-front. Car was still so good looking, that we decided to go for it! Next night I hardly get any sleep at all :D
3.11.2009 I got call from Mikko and he told me that I'm new car owner.
Few days later, I got some more pics and during this week they send me rest of the pictures...

Situation is now this: I have a car, it's in Japan and it's waiting for transport to Finland.

- Remove windowtints
- (maybe) Remove rear spoiler
- Lower the car littlebit more
- Change wheels to 18" white ones

- New 2Din headunit with touch-screen
- New stereos
- Few carbon bits
- Small upgrades to interior

In winter 2010-2011:
- Work Meisters S1... :smitten:
- Lots of mods to interior and exterior, but more of those later...

Thats everything I remembered now, I will update when I get those things to my head :)

I finaly got schedule for the ship...

It will be leaving from Japan 22.12.2009 and will arrive to Finland in 18.2.2010 :)

I will go to look at the car in February and maybe in March, it will be roadlegal and I can drive it home.
There might be some snow and ice on the road at March, so I'm going to take her perminetly on road at start of May.

Something new to post here in next year...

Happy holidays, have a great christmas and Happy new year

Haha, I was just googling around the web and found this thread, I've checked the cars that Mamasan have bought through the auctions and saw this car couple months ago so I recognized this. I've ordered my Silvia from there too and it's in Helsinki atm waiting for pick up :)

* Chapter 2 - My baby is coming home*

Finally I drove my baby home
First 200km behind my new cars wheel and I already love it!

I just put full spec-list to the first post of this thread, and I will be updating that list there.

Ship arrived to days late at 20.2.2010 (estimated date of arrive was 18.2.2010). Now she have all the paperwork (almost) done and she was ready to get picked up. Today 4.4.2010 I drove it home from Helsinki and I was really really pleased.

There was few problems but after all everything went very well.
One of the problems was that two days ago, one ignition coil went of and I was afraid that she won't be ready to pick up, but Mikko from Mamasan manage to take care of this situation and did get VAG ignition coils for my Silvia. Now it has all four new coils and she is running great.

Here is few pics:

Tomorrow I will be going to clean her and will try fitment of my new wheels, also some other little things to do so will be back here tomorrow with some pictures maybe ;)

Looks very nice indeed mate :)

They are the clear Yashio's BTW. You can tell by the colour of the seperations between the different lens sections! ;)

Thanks!! Just edited spec-list

I discovered today lots of nice things :D
When I started to remove all not-so-good-looking stickers and etc. I found Alpinen TV Unit, Alpine DVD-player, Alpine TV Screen and Alpine Navi unit.
Those were under passengers seat and next to the ECU under the carpet. Screen was in a box where I discovered more awesome stuff. Under my car, there is lots of Ikeya Formula rods and arms, see my updated spec-list for those

My new Toyos didn't come today as they were promissed so I'm going to have them tomorrow and then I finally have chance to change my wheels... Tomorrow I'm going to also remove all "studip-stuff" that are on my car and will fit Walbro and remove front foglights and rear wiper.

Changed my wheels today... ...I love my wheels :smitten: They look so much better than Work ones (although Works looked also very good).
I also ripped of all stickers and cleaned the interior.

Wheel are Rota Grid Drift
18x8.5 ET35 + 3mm spacer at front
18x10 ET35 at rear

found Rays ultra lightweight wheels nuts and put them to hold on my wheels.

Here is few pics from today
