Ok so I decided to start one of these threads. I really never have in the past because all my builds take a long time and i forget to get pics along the way etc etc.. So This time I will actually try and do it each step of the way.. Its going to take a lil more time than normal since the car is up in seattle. I go up there every other weekend or so.. Not going to say what all is going in the car. You will have to wait for updates. Right now its ready for Justin Elin at Position 1 racecraft to do the stitch weld and full cage.. Anyway here is the start of the build ( 6 months after I got a brand new paint job :) )..

The beginning:

I really do not have the time to do much with it. Its hard to get to it and work on it a lot.... But i make time and there are a few guys that helps out alot.. Since there are not very many people around this forumn that are in my area I can let out the main components to my build.. The powerplant will be a built ls7 all motor. Going with Vertex Wide body and project mu brakes. Still not too sure on the rollers and what not.. But will decide soon.

Thanks
Chad

Ha, had to be a V8 going is with you being state side

Do you think i could write to Chip Foose and get my car 'Overhauled' :D

For those who dont know, the LS7 is a small block v8 which is fitted to the current Corvette Z06, here's some info on the engine - http://www.motortrend.com/av/112_0506_ls7enginebuild_video/

Then there's the mods -

Super charger (635bhp) - http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/product.php?p=142&cat_key=12
Twin-Turbo Charger (800bhp) - http://www.lingenfelter.com/LingenfelterC6ZO6427CIDTwinTurboCorvette.htm
616bhp option - http://www.lingenfelter.com/pacc6_ZO6camintake.htm - Listen to the sound clip at the bottom.

yeah everyone that are doing the lsx swap in the US in the s chasis are either doing the ls1 or ls2 swap. I figured since I am one of the few to have a s15 here legal I might as well go all out and do a ls7 :)

not a word about the motor choice on NWN either. Do not want too many people knowing about it.

I always feel wield looking at a duce w. a chevy block...that should be the begining of a hybrid car.

So if ya put a LS7 motor into a s15....then the silvia DNA is lost!

Try mating with a cow,...opps what kind of offspring ya get??!! Cowboy..hehee.
