Finally got my baby home!!

Picked it up from Torque GT yesterday and had a nice long drive back. The test drive last week only gave me a small taster. Now I've had a chance to really put it through it's paces and it really is an awesome machine!!

My mate who came to collect the car with me (and owns a Supra TT) kept commenting on how smooth the power delivery was throughout the entire rev range :D

Thanks for the pos feedback

The Kakimoto zorst is LOUD - and it's only cat-back

Is it normal for Silvia's to pop like crazy when driving at low speeds? Since I've picked up the car, when changing from 1st to 2nd and sometimes into 3rd, it's popping nearly everytime I lift off to change gears.

The neighbours aren't going to like this... :rotfl:

Nice! You might wanna do something bout ur zorst, the way your zorst is pointing, the rear pods will melt in no time. Especially if your trashing it.

And the popping is due to running rich. If u shift below 0psi on the boost gauge, it wouldnt pop. It only pops if u shift around 0 or near 0. Are you running atmo bov?? If you are, then probably that's why it's running so rich.

Can you please try what mileage ur full tank can do. Mine the best I can is 380km which is pretty bad for an s15. I've yet to solve the running richness. I've researched around and it's either the atmo bov or the o2 sensor is dead.

Good luck and have fun!

Ichi - thanks for the advice

Yes - the car is fitted with a Blitz Super Sound Dump Valve. I have read stuff about when all the air is vented etc, the fueling continues as normal hence the lost air makes it very rich.

However, I am getting really good mpg on the car.

The day I collected it, I had to drive it back 200 miles door to door from the importers. The first thing I did down the road was to fill the tank to full with V-Power.

After 200 miles - it only used half the tank :)

Ok, a lot of it was motorway miles but surely I'm assuming I can get at least 350 miles / 560 km on a full tank?
