Good call on the fire extinguisher...when you start modifying cars or decide to do some track work it's just peace of mind..Ive had one for many years, I put mine behind the passenger seat below the back seat, mounts onto the lower seat bracket bolt..still easy to reach..

Looks good buddy..What did you seal the exhaust with?
I used some Blackfire All Metal Sealant :)

So yesterday it went off for tuning. Good and bad results haha! A high flow fuel pump was fitted and then a boost leak was done, all my work paid off and the boost leak hose popped off cause there were no leaks in the system haha! Onto the dyno it went!

Due to the injectors not arriving at the tuners in time and my work commitments the mapping had to be carried out without them. On the first power run they informed me that the injectors were already maxed out… ****s sake ahaha! Mapping was continued but with a 5500rpm limit, a bit annoying but at least I could drive it again in the knowledge I’m not doing any damage. Anyway down to figures, it made 313hp this was with the injectors maxed out, revving to 5.5k and no boost added with the boost controller! The tuner was sure it could easily make 400hp which I’m very pleased with, it is booked in again for beginning of January to have the rest of the work carried out. I’m just happy to have it back again right now, still feels quick as it is haha!

I better update this as it’s been a while!

After getting it back from mapping I just enjoyed actually driving it for a bit. Even with a 5500rpm limit it was still fun! Met up with my mate with a MK2 Escort and a 430hp MR2 haha!

I noticed the clutch was starting to slip so that got swapped out with the flywheel and slave cylinder!

Aero catches were then fitted as I was scared of the bonnet wobble on the motorway haha!

I had wanted a Key’s Racing for years, finally bought one! So glad I did!

Then came mapping day 2! 740cc injectors were fitted then it went onto the dyno!

Here is one of the pulls

It made 365.1 at the fly and 310 at the wheels. Safe to say it’s pretty scary, well for me at least! Never owned anything this quick haha!

Day after mapping the Works came off and split down for a refurb whilst I was out of the country with work! Can’t wait to get them back! It’s sitting on manky Lexus wheels currently haha!

This looks awesome now! I was chatting to the seller of this before I bought my own but decided against it. I just got a bad impression. I'm glad it's in good hands though and the work you have done is spot on!

So I picked up this the other day!

A J’s Racing Type 1 spoiler! Looks a lot better than the copies in my opinion. While it wasn’t raining I gave it a quick size up and confirmed that I would need to make up some new brackets to get it to fit correctly.

Should be getting it fitted on Friday depending on the weather along with a couple of other jobs!

Fantastic build, inspiring efforts. Looking forward to seeing what's next..

One question - with such a great looking bay why no top mount?

So a couple of parts have arrived for the next stage of the build. Think i'll keep it secret what i'm doing this time haha!

I would have liked to have gone top mount, just felt for the power I wanted it wasn't really needed. Wanted to keep it nice and simple!

Here's a couple of up to date pics from the other day before the next changes start!

Got a couple more bits sorted. New brake discs and pads all round as the old ones were pretty much spent. I forgot to get a picture of the fronts! I went for EBC discs and Porterfield pads.

I finally finished the gold tape under the bonnet, been putting this off for months as I lost the reel of tape I bought!

I doubt it does anything tbh, it does look cool though!

And the final recent thing is some new front wings to replace my old badly rolled rusted ones!

I’ve got some spacers on order to fill them out in the arches better. I will get different wheels which won’t need spacers in time, but for now they will do. Won’t be long till I get them back from the paint shop now.

Car's looking great, man. :thumb::smile: Are those Origin front fenders by any chance? If so how's the fitment on them? Also, what's wrapped around your coilovers?

While I was away with work I was lucky enough to get a connecting flight in Tokyo so I had a few hours to explore. I made it to Super Autobacs and it didn’t disappoint!

When I arrived home I went and collected the fender from paint, they did an awesome job!

A quick test fit before I got them bolted on.

The new spacers were fitted and then the fenders with nuts and bolts not cable ties ha!

After this I had to go away with work again, when I came back home I was greeted with this view!
