Wow you really did drop it quite low once you got the HSDs

I think they work quite well.. are you taking the photos with your phone? It doesn't seem to like the blue colour of your car, makes it a bit purple :eek:hwell:

Update time!!!
Clutch problems led to this happening today :( much broken-ness!!!!

But did find a Nismo flywheel already fitted in there :)

Didn't get any pics of new stuff going in but now has a 3 puck Exedy, not back on the road though, clutch needs bleeding and the back end feels like it's completely disconnected so need to look into that

Time for some small updates :)
After loosing my Reytec software disc in my garage fire last year had to buy another one from Japan as my mapping laptop died :(
So £75 later for a CD ROM!!! I'm back up and running after the battery went dead flat and the ECU lost its map :(

Then my MAP sensor died so another £85 sent to Japan for a new one :(

Now just to add more problems the 3 bolt flange on the turbo has decided it doesn't like being bolted to the turbo anymore!!!

Oh the joyous life of S-Bodies!!

So while I have the intake taken apart I've redone my air filter relocation, obviously the best idea 3 days before Japfest haha

Also thought I'd chuck my homemade shotgun pipes back on :)

And make it look abit prettier under the bonnet too

So not much change but I have made my own catch can after seeing the GK tech over radiator one thought I could build one significantly cheaper

So behold my £25 catch can!!
(strictly speaking this is the wife's cars catch can as I made 2 at the same time but you get the idea)

Here's mine fitted alongside the new coil pack cover I made at the same time

Cheers man quite pleased with how the can came out!

I've spaced up the coil pack cover to allow the heat out as it's not flush with the cover.

Might put some louvres on it as well but currently incapacitated in hospital :(

Right so this hasn’t been updated in a very long time!!
Silvia had done very well as a daily after my truck died, 110 miles each day for over a year!!!

Last May the oil pump started giving out so that got changed

Then in October this happened

So obviously that was the end of my SR
Took the crank to my local machining shop and they measured up the crank to find it was bent :(

So after a bit of soul searching decided to get myself an RB!

Removing some extra unnecessary bits

Stainless exhaust studs

After getting it sitting on the new R33 subframe with a relocated steering rack mountings (moved the mounts by 20mm) and my now de-powered steering rack

Unfortunately my throttle body and fuse box wasted to occupy the same space :(

So I had 2 options, move the fuse box or fit the original plenum, so naturally went with the stress free and easier option of moving the fuse box!

All hidden in the glove box now

Had a break from wiring and sorted the pipe work for the intercooler

So many updates to do, kind of forgot about this thread haha
Had the RB up and running, all going very well
The next day drove it to London for a show, nothing like a baptism of fire haha

And then drove to Ace Cafe for a chilled out evening

Got a bit bored of standard bodywork, so this happened..

Cheers man, it’s been a lot of work
It was going to be wrapped at FLS, but like most places they’ve closed for a couple weeks
