just got her mapped again after putting in the injectors and pump.

this is what i got
all at 1.2bar boost

267.6BHP @ fly
204BHP @ wheel
Torque 372.9 Nm

but don't forget that's running on 95RON.
Standard AFM was running out of puff at high RPM
have a Z32 AFM with Apexi filter to go in for next mods.

Was bit disappointed with the power figures, but have to say torque looks good.
Think it was down to me have the non BB turbo...
next power mod would be a bigger turbo.

Ray about time. Interesting figures there. We have almost identical spec and there is handy difference in figures. And i'm running less boost. When you do the run? With Martin was it? I must get a look at your car soon before mine goes.

204rwbhp @ 1.2 bar? Something's not right there... That underpowered. Should be around 260-270rwbhp

EDIT: just saw the 95RON bit. Jeez you guys worry the crap out of me with your 95RON mappings running at 1.2 bar... You have no idea how near the edge you are...

I don't think it's the non-bb turbo. It's the same size and the difference between them isn't really that big.

Good Torque figure though.
Something looks funny with the hp figure.

You have way more torque than me (337nm), but yet I have more horsepower (241rwhp) and running lower boost (0.74bar).

It would be interesting to see if you would get more hp with lower boost :)

Could it be the AFM causing the low hp figure?

Edit: Nice car and spec-list by the way :)

Torque figures always seem to be all over the shop. Odd when you consider the power figure is based on it...

And, yes, it could make that much difference. The amount the ignition will need to be retarded to stop det would be considerable...

I done the map there with Martin on monday. seems to be big difference in are figure. but got plenty of torque. yeah will have to get a look at your car too.

Yakozan

I was thinking it was the turbo as mines no BB.. but not really sure.might be AFM too...

Nicely

yeah the whole under power thing is worrying me not sure what to do here.
the guy mapping the car said it could be the ignition, but didn't want to touch it for me. Is it something that local nissan garages can fix?

As im sure its cant be that big of a difference running 95RON. and non BB turbo.

I ran 320 at the fly on the same turbo on my S14.

Ray, if the ignition isn't retarded running 1.2 bar on 95RON, it'll be detting like feck and will explode at some point in the not too distant future. That's the difference between 95 and 98RON...

Paul-S15R's was the other end of the scale getting loads of power from only 0.8 bar, but running very lean. The ideal is to run the middle ground, and the only way to do that is with higher RON fuel or water injection.

its mapped for 1.2 but I'll be only run it at 1 bar, that might be better.
Im sure the ignition was not touched.

my power FC shows det and it seems to be fine not sure at higer RPM might be bad there.
just hope the tuner knows whats hes doing.

But nicely what is the problem with my underpower, want to get it sorted...

Ray, if your PFC is showing det, you need to turn your boost down NOW. The PFC tends to be quite accurate detecting det.

Martin was also saying it could be the vvt sprocket gone but there is no rattly sound from it.

im sure Martins good with sr20det he has one of his own that he races s14 i think.

i get about 10 on the knock sensor on the PFC on normal driving so it not bad at all.

if it hit around 60 it be series detting.

Ive built 2 high power glanzas with martins help and mapping ;) got an appointment on the 26th of this month so it will be interesting to see how my figures compare as our specs are rather similar
