I had a project thread going a while back, but I got bored of updating it and the project kept stopping and starting to thought I'd start afresh now it's completed. Completely home built including paint.

Its a 2002 spec r L package but not much is left of when I got the car. Anyway I'll let the pics do the talking.

Goes very well. Made 442bhp and 414lbft on the dyno. Pulls really hard after 5000. With a cam and hear work it'll see just shy of 600bhp.

Sound is, loud haha. I'll need to get a video people keep asking for one.

That's VERY nice!

Is the vented bonnet needed for clearance, cooling or is it just styling?

Kind of a bit of everything. The car originally had a wise square/behrman gt carbon bonnet which I didn't want to chop up as the vent didn't clear. Managed to get the dmax one for a steal and decided to cut that as its fibreglass, the vents really help cool it too. My inlet isn't stock, if it were it would probably clear. A standard bonnet might clear just now but it'd be tight! I have a aeroworkz lip and dmax roof spoiler to go on so the bonnet won't look quite as out of place then.
