When we were out on that photo shoot we stopped in a crappy car park and I managed to drive into the only area with a rock sticking up out of the ground so there's a split about 10cm long from the driver side arch where it meets the wing. Gutted! You can just see it in the photo above if you look closely.

Argh! Nightmare! Bloody fibreglass. I cracked my RH front wing when I was on full lock went down a pot hole and my tyre smacked the arch and cracked it. I just day it adds character! Lol

Haha, yeah I suppose it does. Not really that bothered but it's just annoying when I've put so much time into tidying everything up trying to get it into A1 condition!

Visited H-Dev yesterday, fitted 555's, chip and mapped, now stage 2a, she acheived 306.1 bhp / 320 lbft at flywheel, 258.7 bhp at the wheels, and the news I wanted to hear most is that the engine is healthy and all as it should be :D

Yep pulls a lot harder, massive improvement, hadn't heard a bad word said about Jez's work and rightfully so. :)

You just need to man up and rev to the redline now :D the look on you're face when you took it to 6k in third was epic. The car now has the balls to match its looks :
D

New wheels arrived today, all four have kerbing so are going to need a refurb and one has a small flat spot on the lip which is a shame, but nothing that can't be sorted in due course.

The rears fit fine, nice and flush with the arches and no clearance issues as expected, the fronts will need spacers to clear the calipers, so I might need to go wide up front sometime soon, wondering if just wide front wings might look a bit odd though.

I didn't fit the centre caps as my wheel nuts are a tad too long.

Here's a couple of pics from the test fit anyway.

Little update, the koenigs were beyond repair and one had a flat spot so I sent them back. They will have another set in good condition soon so I'm waiting (again) for those to come through.

In the meantime I got a set of veilside andrews that we're leaking and needed a rebuild so I spent Xmas holidays stripping them, getting old sealant off, cleaning, resealing and rebuilding them.

Also bought a juran low seat rail and the drivers seat arrived today, all bolted straight in which was a relief.

Next is fitting a pair of origin 20mm front wings, getting repaired and painted over the next week or so.

Thanks man yeah it's really comfortable as well. I'll get a matching passenger one at some point, just need to find a passenger side low rail.

And the wheels, one had a flat spot on the outer lip and three had pretty bad curbing, and because of the construction of the lip, couldn't be repaired without seriously weakening it. I took them to two polished wheel specialists and they both said the same thing. Quite gutted to be honest, I waited quite a while for them and was super excited when they arrived.

What tyres are you running on those wheels? From the pics it almost looks like you could almost do with some more side wall.
