Hello

My name is Paul. I'm 22 years old and this is my S15 Spec-R.
It was the second S15 to hit Swedish soil but the first to get road legal.

Bought it at an action in Japan with help from GB Auto Trader. All contact was done via e-mail
Had it sent to the UK where Kent Terry of Jap-City took over the UK process.
After that It got sent over to Sweden and Jens Nylander took over and got it registered here :)

Would like to thank all of the above and also Greg and Kieran in the UK for letting me borrow parts from them,
which was needed for the very strict ESVA test in the UK.

The car had a Greddy exhaust and the Potenza dampers on when I got it, along with some beautiful SSR rims :)
Stuff in red has been removed from the car.

Edit: Added explanation why i removed the parts.
Red marks is stuff which have been removed
green marks are ordered bits. Or just parts lying in the garage waiting for me to get my thumb out :)

At least then i could get a jack under it :annoyed:
I can't get a regular jack under my car either.
It hits the undercarriage

Have you tried one of these?

They are really low.
Even my mate with a GTI-R with broken suspension (very very low) can get this jack under his car.
Its quite big though. About 1.5 meters long

Black was my desired colour until I found the perfect pewter one and fell in love with it.

Nice ride

are they tinted? :confused

They are a little bit darker today. Put another coat of black on them.
Thinking of doing yet another one
No problems seeing the indicators flashing either. :)

i love it, so what do i need?
I went to a local car parts and accesories store and bought:
masking tape
and a bottle of special spray paint made for tinting lights on cars.

Then I removed the rearlights (4 small bolts inside the trunk behind the interior)

Masked the stuff I didn't want to tint and sprayed away :)

Very easy mod and I think it looks good :)
i just read the instructions on the bottle and sprayed several thin layers.

Edit:
This pic gave me the idea

It says Autobahn88 on it.
But I think it's the same manufacturer as XSpower.
Looks very much like the hybrid kit. We used installation instructions from the Hybrid when cutting the hole :D

I now have the Greddy gauge in the post office. Just have to get from work and fetch it :)
Thanks nengun for being cheap and the swedish custom service for missing it :) (I think).

Will take bad pics when I get home :D

Here they are.

Resized them so the crappiness wouldn't show to much :)

It is a beauty.
The silver color looks very close to the stock meter color. And with the yellow lighting this should be a very very close match to stock.
I'm not having second thoughs about going Greddy instead of Defi.

Looks really good.

Now I only have to learn japanese to be able to read the instructions ;)

Edit:
And there s a label from the swedish post office saying "tullfritt".
That means it's toll free :)
Thank you :notworthy:
