i was kinda suprised when I saw the readings.

I think they calculated the engine power a little high.
when I calculate with a 15% transmission loss I get about 284hp @ the fly

Well well. still good :)
To bad the EBC wasn't setup properly :) Could have been a little higher.

Topper, get your exhaust bits on and get those extra horsies

 I get 286bhp using the quite accurate calculation (rwbhp+10 /0.88). Its just an estimate really. Better to use the RW figure. Even then its going to vary from Dyno to Dyno...

well the only thing engine spec-wise differing between our cars are the exhaust bits.
Get those changed and you would probobly have more then what I've dynoed.

I got my result with a peak boost of 0.74bar

Quite a bit. They are three of the four main restrictions in the exhaust circuit.
lol
the best performance-wise would be to run without an exhaust :)

Most people change the cat-back first.
For performance you should change the other bits first as the exhaust gases are hotter there and needs more space.

Fit that walbro topper :) It's plug n play on the S15 :)
the hardest part was getting that plastic lid back on.

Nicely's got a good guide on his site. I used that one for support. Didn't really need it as it was a pretty straight forward swap.
But it always feels better to have a guide next to you when doing it.

The S15's exhaust isn't nearly as restrictive as the S14s. That's where they get most of the 50 extra bhp from.

Shopping Spree madness ;)

Had quite an shopping spree today.
2 new Falken FK451 tires has been ordered. And I just made an enquire to Apex about some Ferodo pads for the fronts :)

Slowly getting the car track ready :)

The BBS wheels came with a close to new set of Hankook tires in the back and pretty good SNOW tires for the front

So I ordered the Falkens for the front SSR rims...... Confused yet ;)

This is my plan.
Daily driving.
front: SSR rims with new Falkens.........rear: SSR rims with old tires.
Track.
front: SSR rims with new Falkens.........rear: BBS with close to new Hankook in the back
Drift and donuting.
front: whatever I feel like....................rear:BBS snow edition in the back

Hopefully I'll get all the tires sorted for next year.
Don't want to bin perfectly good snow tires and don't want to put new tires on the BBS because I'm thinking about going for racing tires next year.

Getting there :) Just need an Aero kit and spoiler and you'll be set...
Wouldn't mind a full aero kit minus the rear wing :p

Will try to afford a nice aftermarket (yes, crack edition) kit for next year. But there are so many so I don't know what to choose.
And I also want a Power FC, and coilovers, and big brake kit, and widebody, and bigger and wider wheels to match, and Nismo gearbox, and new turbo, and cams, and new injectors, and so on.

With the FMIC I had to take the plastic mesh out in the front and move the washerbottle a bit. It then lit up like a christmas tree in the front so had to paint it :)

Just ordered 2m of braided hoses and some Earls econ-o-fit fittings.
Soon I'll finally be able to connect that Oil catch tank which has been waiting under the bonnet since like january

Hmm. 2m might be like a meter to much. But there might be other things to bling up with some braided hoses aswell ;)

It doesn't help with being parked next to that...thing. Your eyes are repulsed away from it straight onto your washer bottle... :p

Yepp. But now it's black and stealthy.
The "thing" is quite fast though. almost 400hp. boosting about 1.6-1.8bar
But with Ford quality :D He's on his third gearbox and recently blew his head gasket.
It looks abit suprised or should I say shocked with those headlights :rotfl:

It's kind of a nice picture though. The beauty and the beast (S15 being the beauty, and the Cosworth starring as the beast.)

Picture was taken by a guy called Viper89

OK. I was in the garage today and started to prepare the rims for some painting action. After removeing the centercap I discovered that they where 8J wide

Put one coat of black on one of the rims and it turned out real good.
Forgot the camera at home but I'll go back tomorrow and paint the other three and put additional coats on.

I'm planning on doing some track action on the 15th of July at Mantorp Park. the same weekend there is a King of europe drift event in V?ster?s. On the friday there is some drifting for the public which I hopefully will try with my good looking snow tires :) and then head to the track :)
My mate with a GTI-R will join me for this trip. Shuld be great fun if nothing breaks down :)

Recieved my Ferodo pads from Apex today. Just waiting for the tires now and will order some new oils from Airtune.
Last week at work before the vacation too. So everything is comming along Nicely :D
