Peak boost is going to be in 5th and 6th just to warn you...
Hmm. that adds a bit of complication as going to the limiter on 6th is way to fast for public roads :wack:

I might have done it in 5th gear. But I think it was fourth.
Was hitting about 200-220km/h (125-135mph) so I think it was fourth gear.

You'll hit peak around 3500-4500 in those gears. There's no need to take it to the red line. Well...there's no need if you don't have to 'teach' the EBC. My EVC is just set and forget :D

Take my word on that with the peak. After a year of fooking about with that faulty SBC iD-3, I know exactly where the peak boost occurs...

I do remember something about going to about 5000rpm from the manual. Just wanted to be sure. :D

The new HKS unit is very simple to setup.
Once the base boost is set (manually or automatic) you just enter how much you want to boost and you're off :D

I think it works pretty similar to the old HKS unit.

I just remembered. That's where I hit peak with my mods. It might vary slightly for you. Pickup in 6th around those revs is phenomenal for me, especially with my clutch :D

Nah. My garage friend is a painter. so he and his brother sprayed the front for me. Still waiting for the sideskirts though.
Cool, well make sure you post some more pictures up when you get it all done!!! It does look good though... even without the skirts!!

Is it? Yes it's another pic :)
I'll get the sideskirst next week hopefully. Painter has been really busy, but he has started. Only paid about ?70-80 for the job with paint so I'm not complaining :)

nice pics mate, howd you get on with the track day?
Trackday was great. Unfortunaly I got sick later on the day. Got a virus of some sort I think so I only ran one time for about 30-45 min.
I got very tired just before the second run and probobly had a fever so I went home.

Great fun. But I noticed my tyres loosing grip after a while. probobly overheating or something.
Also thought I munched my gearbox after a huge mis-shift going to fifth on a long straightaway.
you know the sound when you try to shift without clutch :) And then I couldn't get it in gear (none of them). just drove along the side of the track and after about 5 seconds it was back to normal. phew.
Will fit that torque dampener again to reduce this.

Oh and here are more pics :D
No comment on what I was doing ;)

new fog-light stalk and relay has been ordered via perfectrun. Should land in Sweden any day now.

Will see if it works the way i think it should.

Bought some Nismo carbon pillar garnish for the R33 while I was at it.
It looked so sad all alone in the garage so had to give her a gift :)

Edit: just saw that the package had arrived at my local post office. thank you perfect run for a fast delivery :)

Thanks for the nice comments :)
fog-lights are now connected.

unfortunaly, the Greddy warning series of gauges has been discontinued :(
was going to get a boost gauge to replace my stock one as that only works from time to time.

Greddy now only sells the SM integrate series. But that isn't available in silver. So it looks like I'll be looking for a used silver boost gauge later on :(

Either that or I'll have to sell my gauges and get new ones. But I really like the stock look of the Greddy silver.

Still haven't found my camera :(
Fitted my rear camber-arms yesterday and got a full wheel alignment this morning :)

Used the whiteline template but with small adjustments to suit my car better.

So now I'm out of parts to fit, except that oil catchtank.
have to get new parts for the winter later on :)
