And there we go.
Everything is now installed.

test started the car today. Everything went smoothly, no leaks or anything.
I had one problem though. The brand new adaptor for the sump-plug snapped. didn't use much force at all. I'll talk to driftworks and see what they can do. Don't know if they're supposed to be this weak or if I got a faulty or damaged one.

here are some pics finally.

Driftworks thermostat.

Newly painted front bumper.

Front bumper fitted.

gave the car a quick wash and this is the result.
Oh and I can definetly hear the diff clunking and more diff whine with the new locking collars. Didn't have any of those sounds before.

The top blokes at driftworks will send me a new adaptor
great service.

They're made in copper so they are supposed to be weak :wack:
Just have to be very careful when fitting the new one.

I can't wait to see how the thermo and cooler acts with the oil-temps :)

Don't know if its because of the lack of EBC or the locking collars or possibly the new wheels with good rubber on them. But my car seems to grip alot better now. No more getting all sideways when flooring it in first and fast shifting to second gear.

The only downsides is the very noticable diff whine when going slow in first and second and the clunks from the diff and gearchanges. But I can live with that. :D

And it's here :D
Fast service from perfectrun once again :)

Unfortunaly Swedish customs didn't fall for my warranty scam :(
But I only had to pay tax for 26000JPY (instead of 56700JPY) so I'm pretty happy anyways :D

lookin' good, and good choice of boost controller! :)

the instructions for the EBC are found to be wrong...
http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=425301
read through there...

basically, when setting your wastegate pressure, you can't just input it, you actually have to drive for the EBC to learn!
Great link
I'll head out to the garage tonight.
Where did you connect the wires to the ECU?
And what wires do I splice into? I guess it's in the service manual or useful threads *heads over to UT for a looksie*

Edit: looks like it's No 20 and 32 I'll be connecting to.
Dazz0i, where did you splice into the cables? right after the ECU?

Connected the HKS EVC today and set it up. It was really simple to setup.
Oil-temp gauge is now connected too.
Oil temp got to around 85-90 degress C and stayed there even though I was really pushing it sometimes to see how steady the boost on the new EBC was in the higher rpm range.

I have a trackday comming up on the first of May.
Should be interesting to see how it will coupe with some trackwork :)

Awesome.... good work mate!!! Did you spray the parts yourself???
Nah. My garage friend is a painter. so he and his brother sprayed the front for me. Still waiting for the sideskirts though.

Yepp. That automatic mode you linked to is really great.
Speeds went well above legal though. Drove in third and fourth gear just to be sure ;) revving it to close to the limiter. Got a peak boost of 0.66bar.

Might have to redo this when I re-fit my de-cat though.
