After looking at a couple of S15's in the UK, and being disappointed, i decided to take the plunge and import one!

After trawling the auctions, i found one i wanted to bid on

A 2001 Spec-R Aero

Full Aero Kit (minus rear spoiler)
Carbon Bonnet
Rear Over Fenders
Bride Zeta
Kakimoto Regu.96-R
Apexi Turbo Timer
E-12 ENNEPETAL Coilovers with Cusco Top Mounts
Staggered Advan SA3R's

A two day wait, and i had confirmation it was mine

Almost two months of waiting due to shipping delays, last Friday it was time to collect her from the Docks

Set off at 6:30am, bound for Liverpool

3 security gates, and one 'Frisk' later, i got my first sight of her!

Sorted all the necessary paperwork and it was time for its first drive, back to the other end of the docks to the waiting transporter

Time to set off home!

A Two hour drive later, and we were back home in the Midlands

Seeing as i had waited so long for it to arrive, i had accumulated quite a parts pile haha, so no time like the present - i got to work

First to fit was my Yashio Factory Gear Knob & Drift Button

along with my Nardi Wheel & HKB SRS Light Delete, put together a custom boss 'shroud/boot' as it didn't have one - a hybrid of Momo & Mercedes AMG , and also fitted my Kenwood Ipod Headunit

Next was to fit the new shoes

XXR 527 18X9.75 with 225/40'S

unfortunately i needed internal drive lug nuts to get them to fit so couldn't properly fit them!

the next day they arrived so time to fit all 4

The rears are only spaced out 5mm there, but after it's MOT'd and on the road, it will be going lower, i'll dial some camber in at the front, and i'll space the rear out to 15mm.

Very nice mate, I have the same Yashio Factory bits as you, great quality.

Think you might have the factory HIDs as well which will be a bonus.

And ENNEPETAL (Bilstein) Coilovers as well, cool..

Any plans apart from the shoes and ride height...

Thanks mate, well the usual basic bolt on performance bits, down pipe-turbo elbow-etc. maybe a manifold too. have a HDI GT2 FMIC, Apexi Air filter, and Apex intake pipe to go on. Nothing monstrous! Haha
Next on the list is a boost controller I think!

Bodywork wise I have a set of D-Max LED tail lights and Nismo clear side repeaters to go on.

Im on the lookout for an Oem bonnet too, or alternatively I'll colour code the carbon one. (Anyone name that bonnet?)

Really nice looking motor! Can't believe you got rid of the advans! They are seriously awesome wheels! Price? :)

Also this "drift button" is it just a fancy pink end or is it a reverse lock one? If the later then where and how much was it?
