Does anyone know if the center support bearing for the auto and manual S15 is the same? I know the shafts are different but I am 'assuming' that is because the tail of the auto box is a different length to the manual - so one section of the shaft is a different size.

Anyone know the answer for sure?

Also - just another silly question - I believe the speed sensor is not in the transmission like on an S14 or S13, but is instead in the differential... Not sure if that is the case on Spec-S... if it is I guess I don't need one for the transmission I have :)

Sorry I didn't get back to you last night, spent 7 hours cleaning my car and by the time I finished, I just wanted to go to bed!!

From the looks of things, the propshaft support (first one from diff?) is in exactly the same location.

Cant help on the other question though, all I know is the speed sensor doesn't come off the gearbox on the S15.

Ste.

I'm currently updating my info on members rides and spec.
