I haven't tried to fit those wheels myself but have had the following experience with 38offset on another wheel.
The 42 offset might cause the spoke to hit the front caliper (4pot spec R) but the te37 does have a good arch in the spoke, and if you put coilovers in it will most likely hit them long before the nuts get done up. Spacers will help solve most of that being a 8" at least you will have lots of room before the other side gets in the way.
42 is the kind of offset for a front wheel drive car.
Went to test fit some konig wheels with a 38 offset they were 18x8 and they hit everything unless spaced by 10mm rears were fine, however my front calipers are from a skyline so that just adds to the problem.
