Spec R boost

Hello everyone

Iv tried a couple of searches but am finding a lot of mixed results.
Basically iv just fitted a profec b and would like to no what boost I can set it up to?

I'm getting it mapped latter on in the year but would like to run what I can safely now.

I'm after the standard boost figure and the highest you guy think I could run?

It's a s15 spec R
Standard map
Upratted 255 fuel pump
Blitz FMIC
Turbo back 3in exhaust
Apexi filter


Any help would be grate

Personally I wouldn't up the boost until you have it mapped. I would also switch to a Z32 AFM before you do so :thumbs:

I have friend thats got the same setup as you, but he removed the cat.. he is running 0,9 bar.. and has done that for 2 years..

I have got a de cat as well.
I have set it to 0.6 at the moment which is what I think standard boost is.
Can anyone confirm?

My standard boost was 0.45-0,5 when I bought It... but I'am also running 0,6 at the moment.. I think 0,6 should be standard,, (not sure)
What I,ve heard people in sweden just set the boost higher,, there are not many that map, or upgrade ecu.. and they are running 0,9-1,0 bar with the same spec like you and I,
I'am thinking of getting a Nistune type 4 board later. just waiting for my obd cable, so that I can watch how engine is performing on a the laptop.

Stock boost is .5 below 5k rpm and .7 above! .8 will be ok, just don't run your tank to low and don't do lots of high speed, long time in high revs runs, as that's when det really destroys engines.
