Hi!

I have a Spec-R 99..
was out and drove couple days ago, and suddenly the car almost stops
and the rpm meter went down under 2000, and when i come near 2000 rpm almost nothing happens.. =)
could It be somthing wrong on airflow meter..? (the afm is the original)

what else can It be..??

that sounds like problem with you AFM, normally this happens when the ecu can't "see" the AFM signal, so check the connector and see if it's getting power, there is also a testing procedure on the S15 manual you can follow.

Iv'e tested it.. I started the car, and then pulled out the contact, the engine almost turned off and then reved up to normal. then i put it in again and the engine did exactly the same.... tomorrow I'll get a S14A AFM.. then I'll see If it's afm....

Thx!!

Does the car idle ok?

When I lost a coupling hose on my FMIC the engine ran like a dog and then just kept cutting out, just a thought?

has the actuator arm fallen off? otherwise, i'd put money on a boost leak on the pipe right next to the turbo or potentially a cracked standard intercooler if you have one.

id be suprised if its the pump, but its not unknown. change the fuel filter (Z32 genuine nissan is the one to use) and see if that improves things also.

If the car is in limp home mode, do a diagnostic on it.

I would say you have a dead coil pack or a fouled spark plug.

so it was a boost leak lol. take the plugs out and clean them up or replace them. I'd also put fresh oil in, just to avoid the chance of bore wash if you've properly flooded it!
