Gear problem

Hey guys, sometimes have a hard time putting the gear stick into 5th gear from 4th, but can find it most times, but if I try to go from 6th back down to 5th, I can never find it and end up having to always to go straight to 4th. when at a standstill, can go through all gears no problem, seems to be only when moving and 5th gear, all others go in easily. There are no crunches though. Car is SpecR.

Oh yeah, reverse is a bitch to find sometimes also!

Do you think there's something wrong with my box or does it just need an oil change? (Doing one soon!). Cheers!

Sounds like you could have a bent selector fork. I would try changing the oil first and see if it makes a difference.

Reverse is always a pain to find. It is just the way the gearbox is.
