Z32 300zx parking brake components

Evening all

Today i received my Z32 rear brake set up. i'm missing a few parts which i'm not massively peeved about as i got the stuff at a good price (i think :rotfl: ).

I've checked the stuff off i have against the list provided on jull.co.uk and have the part numbers for what i need so i'm going to email perfect run shortly but before i do can anyone tell me if i NEED the Z32 backplates

part no: 44020-48P10 and 44030-48P10


or can i use the S15 backplates and just cut off the edge to accommodate the larger discs?

Also- i have a spring that isn't listed on Nicley's site but its shown in this photo (its the long spring ive circled) but have no idea if i need it or the part number of it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :thumbs:

Yeah, you do need the proper Z32 backing plates mate. The whole mechanism attaches to them and they are totally different to S15 ones.

The spring you have circled is part of the handbrake cable and will come with the cables

Any idea where i would get the part number for it? By the looks of it theres something that goes through the spring and attaches to the backplate- i assume i'll need that too?

You dont still have those spare R33 handbrake cables do you?

No, they went to Sweden months ago. Sorry!

I've got some brand new handbrake shoes though, if they are any use?!

No worries mate I actually got shoes and pads with the set up today and they still have plenty of meat left which is a bonus.
