Was just wondering if anyone can give any advice on the best process for me to do this.

I know how to prep it all but I was wondering, if im going to use a zinc based base coat such as Halfords / Wicks or the 'No Nonsense' stuff Dean used but I want the top coat to be Hammerite satin black...do I have to them apply any other primer inbetween for the black to adhere properly or can it be put straight ontop?

Thanks!

you can iust use that zinc galvanising spray mate, it's a great primer but it doesn't have to be top coated...

I know yeh its just Id rather the diff be finished in black to match the rest of the subframe and arms :)

Who knows though may keep it the silver colour if it looks good when done..

I've jacked the diff a few times since i painted it and its fine if you stick an old tea towel on the jack :)
