HI Guys,

K I basically bought an S15 Spec S NA Auto basically as an everyday ride. Kinda makes sense as I wanted something slick yet somewhat "responsible".. I do however would like to give it a bit more balls and advise would be great if you guys have any experience dealing with Spec S NA Autos. How far can I basically take it but yet keep it NA. How much HP can I squeeze out of this thing?

Thanks in advance :notworthy:

in short, very little....you can do the usual breathing mods (exhaust/filter etc) but without spending a lot of money your very unlikely to see any real gains.... a manual conversion would probably give the most power increase due to autos sapping a lot of power, but that would be against the point of it :)

as stated N/A mods are quite expensive, and very little bang for your buck.

N/A mods are fairly straight forward though.

-upgraded camshafts
-possibly get the quad throttles off the GTIR?
-head porting/polishing
-higher compression pistons
-an aftermarket ecu to keep it all happy and running 100%

but being an auto, some of those mods may make the engine a dog to drive. some of them will make a manual a dog to drive too...

but easiest way would probably get your hands on an autech engine. they have a bit of poke to them, and have the factory reliability and driveability.

Or if you want to go quicker for less money, get a JDM Spec R ;)
