Decat on spec s??

hey I have a spec s pretty much standard bar an apexi induction kit, was thinking of getting a de cat as its a cheap mod, does anyone know if they give the spec s as much of a boost as they do a spec r??

Cause they don't it not running boost or near the power.. Decat will release a bit of mid range torque though IMO..

We put a de cat on mine 2 months ago and I can definately feel teh difference, plus it sounds lush now also passed the MOT with it off which was a bonus

they dont kill much torque, mine has no cat and the last owner put a turbo muffler on the end (for looks i guess), so i only have a resonator for restriction, cars a bit flat on take off but once its over 2000 its fine

i wouldent buy a decat, just get you cats end brakcets and weld a bit exhaust pipe up between them, same as a decat just way cheaper cause most decat's are 3 inch , NA exhaust is way smaller

Optimum decat size for the SR20DE would be 60MM. Stepping up to a turbo decat at 75mm upwards is going to misaligned the system.
