Hey guys,

Is it a direct bolt in, or is there drilling and tapping involved?

Thanks again

I've came across this question before from a Spec-S owner. Behind the black gromet type things are just holes, no threading or anything. I dont think they can be welded into place either due to how thin the floor is. A plate underneath with a nut on for the bolt to thread into was the only option I could think of, but dont think its been tried.

I had a very quick look and it looks like there is threaded holes under some stickers on the boot floor, but I've not had time to make sure that they are in the correct places on both sides...

After digging up this thread i think its time to stop wasting money on the JDM Spec S, just get the R and swap the Aero body kit over, there's two many differences between the two to bother with the S in any way other then cosmetically.

Autech must have felt sorry for the Spec S as its such a basic, basic, basic car in a great looking body, so they made their version a Spec R with a NA engine
