I noticed the factory heat wrap around one of the heater hoses has a rip in it and it's exposing about an inch of the rubber hose toward the turbo outlet dump pipe area(back of the engine).
Will the heat have any effect in the hose? as it's approx 3-4" away.
It's also making some contact with the top half of the O2 sensor(will this cause any melting?)
I know the hoses are pretty resistant to heat, but wanted to make sure. The car is a stock s15.
