went down to my tyre guy and he was unsure what to put on them, and has rang some dude in head office to find out the correct sizes etc. (waiting on his to get back to me.
So just wondering what ye guys wound put on your wheels. I dont really want any or much stretch, ****e roads ere and its my everyday car.

I'm running 8.5" front and 9" rear with 225 45 and 245 40 TR1's - This gives a "Normal" looks with regards to streching tyres.

225 40 18 on the fronts and 255 35 18 on the rear will give you the same size profiles and look great on those size rims. Slight stretch but nothing silly.

was thinkin of 255 or 265 on the back alright, good to know others are using it. I presumed ya would put close to the same on the front but u guys are using 225 why is this? less room under the front is it?
Also ye are putting the thicker wall tyre on the front i taught the bigger should go on the back, as its putting the power down. most are puttin 40, 45 on front and 35s on the back, why so?

Im just after putting in hsd coilovers and a driftworks alignment kit in. At the moment its sitting very height. What im thinking is 225/235 40 on the front and 255 40 on the back.
Will they sit in under my arches ya???? have to go with 40 as 35 wont last on the roads over ere.
After which lower the car and then set up alignment. Are can anyone see any problems i might hit?
