My Fly wheel....

Morning all!

Mid engine build made a bit of a discovery! I dont have the dual mass fly, and inplace its Nismo item!

With the possibility of needing a new clutch soon, and understanding that I may or may not beable to use an S14 clutch kit (better choice and cheaper) I;d like to try and confirm if i have an s14 fly or s15 flywheel installed.

You have a S15 specific flywheel. The S14 is thinner, re picture

If you are using the 6 speed S15 box, you have to use a S15 fly. You can use the S14 clutch kit with either fly in either box as they are the 'universal' part. It is the flywheel that has to be suited to the gearbox.

Hey Craig, thanks for the responce, I think Ive just got this round my head.

I have the S15 box and clearly I have an S15 fly, so this means I can use a S14 clutch kit?

Its just Ive read in so many places I can't!

Yep you can use an S14 clutch kit.

People who say you can't clearly haven't tried it! The only time it wouldn't work is if you have a fancy flywheel where it needs a non-oem style clutch kit to fit, but if you have a standard clutch you will be fine.
