if what i think is right
front 8j et28 making my 8j et 8 stick out about 19mm
rear 9j et 40 making my 9j et 20 stick out 20mm

is that right?

got 25mm front fenders allready
need to sort the rears maybe 30mm
then get my other equips built to suit

My WORK XD9's 8" +30 (5mm spacer) F & 9" +38 R were the perfect fit when running whiteline touring alignment settings. Now with my CR Kais i gotta run a fair bit of camber to tuck the top of the rim within line of the arch and have sacrificed handling and driveability by doing so.

Hi mate - I've got +50mm rear arches and running 17 x 9.5J ET30 (no spacers):

I'm currently looking for 5mm spacers as there's still room for me to push out a little without rubbing. Lowered on Tein coilovers with camber at -2.5 deg.

jez based on alot of maths ive done and reading the wheel thread i think your quite right there

lupix that doesnt sound right you should of only had to put on 20mm rear fenders for it to be roughly flush?
unless you got crazy backwards camber
10j et3 would sit perfectly with the rear arch without camber

im confused
google says 1inch is 25.4mm
offset calculator says to keep the exterior lip-wheel the same when adding a inch to a wheel is 26.0mm?
http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

"edit" ive worked it out as its rounding it up to 26mm

stock
front 8j et 28
rear 9j et 40

50mm rear fenders
10j et3
9j -10

30mm rear fenders
9j 10
10j 23

25mm front
8j 3
8.5j 9

So do you think these will fit the stock rear arches?

18 x 9.5j - ET30
i've got these with 255/35/18 mate and run some negative camber on rolled rears - but they fit nicely

A 10J +42 will sit perfectly flush on the back with 0 camber. Right now I'm running 9.5J +20 on the front and it's a little bit sunken in but I'm running -3 camber, if I pushed it out to -2 it would probly be flush.

I've got stock arches with the lip rolled back flat, and run on 17x9 et22 with a 225/45 tyre, -3 camber. If I undo the bottom mount of the damper and jack up the wheel into the arch, I've got about 8-10mm of clearance. At a normal (lowered) height, the wheel sits flush, nudging towards slightly poked. Like this infact. The picture doesn't show it that well as its not looking directly inline with the car. Still gives you an idea though :)

Here's what I'm running at the moment.

Front 18x9.5, offset +20, 225/40-18, -3 camber, stock fender

Rear 18x9.5, offset +20, 235/40-18, 0 camber, stock fender, rolled, not pulled
