Which is better to use? I am contemplating using a pair of thermo fans on my S14.5 RB26 project as space will be a restriction and I really don't want to cut into the upper radiator support to recess the aluminum radiator to give way for the clutch fan. What are your opinions?

clutch fan above all, we tried two electric ones one my RB s13 and they couldnt keep up so we modified the slam panel slightly then fitted the factory fan with shroud and the temps have been perfect ever since.

Damn may have to bite the bullet then, wonder if it will interfere with the condenser location by cutting and recessing the radiator.

What roachey said. Everything I have heard points to the clutch fan being better.
