ARC airbox anyone?

Is there any advantage of having ARC super induction over pod filter with airbox and duct?

It's a panel filter and nicely fabricated box with funnel but will it really outperform pod filter? eg. engine response at low, middle, and high RPM and negative pressure etc?

Anyone had any experience with it or have thoughts?

they look REALLY pretty. and thats about the only advantage over any other filter.

imo the apexi ones are the best. i dont like foam filters at all. they have good flow but are terrible at filtering. they lot alot of grime though.

i allways had the impression it would be better as the feed would be colder as the box keeps heat away

but then again ive never had one

would it be worth using the box and making it a cone filter instead |?

I had one. They look and sound great, but I have to agree on the relatively poor filtration. When I took mine out, I noted dust on the inside of the box, which is obviously not ideal. I have since changed to Apexi pod/aluminum induction box.

I use one and love it Have no problems with it so far..
