Went down to stiv on tuesday to have a bit of work done on my car. And of all the luck about 100yards from his house i hit a bad bump on the road and my bonnet flew open. was only doing 40mph if even cause of the bad road.

Anyhow the bonnet bent in an L shape so its ****ed also took my windscreen with it and marked the roof.:censored::censored::censored: Now i have windscreen cover but have to get a bonnet sorted and cause of the mark on the roof im thinking full respray. car is "pearl white"

was quoted 2500 for a full respray taught that was a bit steep as apart frm the mark on the front wing "dam woman and her trolley" and now the mark on the roof the car is very straight.
Anyone have work done recently what kind of money should i expect.
feel free to plug a good panel beater as i am on the look out,
Also rolling the idea of a wide body kit around the auld skull. where could i get one that fits well and does not cost a small fortune, only looking for the front and rear fenders/quarters :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

I had mine resprayed 2 years ago for 1800 full professional job everything baked and garunteed for 10 years. Furness motors in drogheda did the work and ive never had a problem yet.

Sounds like youre having a bad run of things luck wise!! If youre going wide arch then it would have to be a genuine kit. Ive seen the real kits and the copys and the difference is night and day

Bad luck is an understatement,
Well I guess it could have been worse my brother who was following me down to give me a lift back just manage to stop in time and not rear end me, but if he had could have claimed off him get the lot done for free.:rotfl: “only messing”

Panel beater told me to go through my insurance company to get the lot done but don’t know would it be worth the trouble. Hard enough insure the car with out any claims on my policy.

Was going to get rid of the car but after 2weeks using the parents corolla I want it back.
Slammedmind €1800 sounds a bit better I wonder has the price come down any sine this auld recession.

Xlr8 that jcr crowd sound the business as im in galway so limerick be very handy for me, how much did it cost if ya don’t mind me asking and would ya have a contact number. Do they have body kits available r do ya supply your own?

anyone hear of this crowd duraflex i wonder r they any good

Can’t remember who recommended this crowd to me FC Auto Repairs / autostyling
i gave them a ring the other day. The guy was sound out and was only giving me ball park figures with out seeing my car. For a full respray talking €2300 and to put a wide body kit on her talking around 3500 depending on how much the arches need to be rolled. sounds a bit steep will shop around for something else.
Any more suggestions let me know please

I've no dealings with them but would question what you're actually getting (aesthetically) as the "TR" kit on page 1 is not a duraflex kit  And if a company doesn't even use pics of its own products to sell them I would question the product quality & fitament!!!

As for the work, if xlr8 got some done on his S15 I would be going there  I've not had the pleasure of seeing it in the flesh but it is apparently flawless
