Has anyone done clutch change DIY? Or know the link to show?

I'm thinking of doing it this or next weekend and I heard it will be 3-4 hours job?

I can only find bunch of clutch problems topics not actual fitting...

I'm really not sure of changing the flywheel which I haven't investigated pros and cons.. so it could well depend on if I also need to change the flywheel at the same time too..

lol i think I'm posting quite a lot in a row purely asking haha

If youre using the same flywheel Id really reccomend getting it skimmed. 3-4 hours on a drive. Probabaly half that on a ramp. YOu may need to smack the transmission tunnel for a bit more clearance and also undo the engine mounts to allow the engine to 'droop' back allowing easier fitting of the box.

Good luck! :D

no need to smack the tranny tunnel, just tilt the engine back :)

Unless it's on a hoist IMHO its not worth the headache to DIY this part of the car cos its a effin pain to do!!
