Hello!

I was stopped last night by the local police. He didn´t like my taillights. They did´t light up as mutch as they should.
Soo now I have too either replace them with my stock or put in LEDs soo that they will light up as they should.
So my question is can I put in LED lights in my rear lights and have the same strenght in the lights as the stock ones?

My rearlights right now are the Origin ones but with black tint on them.
I will take a picture too day now in daylight and later too night when it´s a bit darker.

You've had hassle over them before havent you? The swedish police must really have nothing better to do....

Courtesy of Nicely's bulb thread.... ( http://forum.s15oc.com/showthread.php?t=844&highlight=bulbs )
Rear combination lamp
Indicator: 7440 (21W)
Brake/tail: 7443 (21W/5W) Two per side
Reverse: 921 (18W) If a reversing light is converted to a fog light, you will require a red bulb
High mounted brake: 921 (18W)

Number plate: 501 (5W)
And here is a link to a company that sell bright LED variants.....

hope its a start...

p.s. I've never used any of them so I can't tell you if they are any good or not. I think als_jordan has bought some variants but I don't know which ones or how good they are.

i have the same tail lights too mate arn't your brake lights led any way tho? mine are dmax brand tho so could be different,
if they are led yes you can use higher lumen out put led's but you will have to be good with a sordering iron and know that diodes only let current flow one way so e.g if you put the led reverse bias it wont light up
hope this helps

Its down to you. I've always found that trying to find decent brightness LED bulbs for rear lights (which also distribute light properly into the reflectors) is virtually impossible. If you want LED, get some Wisesquares. OK, the indicators aren't LED, but the side and brake lights a full LED and well bright :)
