Removing rear emblems

I'd like to remove the rear Nissan and Silvia emblems from the car. As far as I can tell they are just glued/taped on the car. I assume I can just use some fishing line to pop them off and then clean the remaining glue/tape off the car?

If this is the case, what do you all recommend to remove the remaining sticky?!?

Thanks guys

I think i used a bit of petrol and a rag to remove the glue thats left behind. But yeah the fishing wire trick will work fine for getting the actual emblem off.

I liked keeping the 'Silvia' badge on. Left a hint for people. Though some people would still stare at it and read 'Skyline'... :annoyed: Shouldn't imagine its the same problem in Japan...
