looking for a gud brake set up, discs and calipers

hey all, i have a bad warp in my discs and am using this problem as an excuse 2 upgrade from stock, would really appreciate any help :thumbs:

also ive heard that the gtr r33 has the same hub as the silvia, is this true ?

R33 & Z32 should be a straight swap and allow bigger discs (plus most are ally calipers which are lighter). A popular option if your a bit flushed for money is a complete R33 GTR Brembo setup. If doing the rears you will need to change the handbrake setup (not a big problem).

I believe R34 and 350z calipers can also be used with a slight modification.

If youre really luvky you can get a good set with pads and discs for about the ?500 mark for the fronts. Mates just sold fronts and rears for about ?700.

Don't think they were standard on all GTR's, only on certain models (V-Spec perhaps?)

You will probably be best looking on GTROC for whats available and prices...

All R33 GTRs have the Brembo brakes and the R32 GTR V-Spec has too.
R34 GTR is pretty much the same. some drilling is required though because of it using bigger bolts.

i paid ?480 for my brembo's front and rear. with discs and DS2500 pads!

I believe the Z32 uses the same front rotor as S15 which is the 280mm but the caliper is alloy finned so it's lighter.

R33GTST uses 296mm rotor and R34GTT uses 310mm rotor on the front.

All R32/33/34/z33 brembos run 324mm rotors on the front.


I could be wrong though because there's just too many 4pots from nissan lol

yea, front and rear calipers, front and rear discs, and DS2500's all in that price.
