Hi Guys,

Those who have fitted Z32 AFMs, is it a common symptom your the RPM hunts?

Some sources blame the rpm hunt at idle due to AFM signal affected by top mounted big turbos....or rather they blame powerFC, and call it the 'PowerFC symdrome'.
It is all a nonsense....w/o AFM, my idle hunts as well!

Hi Sillbeer,

My tuner knew I wanted a streetable car and from his Power FC tuning experience, he suggested to stick back to stock AFM. From what I'd gathered, at close throttle idling, the back lash of pre turbo air to the hot wire might cause this hunting. Personally, if its a slight hunt, I can live with that. However, I may have to bring my car in again to trial certain values on the idling cell at different conditions and reach the best compromise. Will see how it goes.
