lambda

Just got a de-cat for my S15,its a made up one and dosn't have section for the lambda sensor! Ppl have told me I wont need it put back in, is this true and will it affect the running of the car if I dont use it!!??

dont think there's a sensor in it... i think its only an earth wire attached to the old cat though... my decat came with a sensor port, but i stuch a bolt into it to block it.
i think the lambda sensor is in the down pipe

The O2 sensor at the elbow is wired to your ECU. You can still run your car with the O2 harness detached but you will be running rich on open loop.
