Pretty sure any any coilovers with any adjustability is illegal...

mint,

If you want to slam your car, dont go SS as they are not base adjustable so it's limited to how low you can go.

Flex are discontinued so you can only get mono flexs now.

The reason the flex are illegal is the base adjustment. The Superstreets however are legal for road use because you can only adjust the spring preload, which in turn changes the ride height. I was told this by the suspension shop that sold me the coilover. Note: I had already paid for them before he told me this.

Stock suspension is 2.2kg/mm front and 2.4kg/mm rear.
Original dealer fit NISMO kit is 3kg/mm front and 3.2kg/mm rear.

depends on what you want. I have Tein SS and they don't go ultra low. You probably get about 2" lower, due to the fact that the coilovers don't have base adjustment. The flex's have base adjustment and will go much lower, but the spring rates are much harder. Not sure what the rates are on them but my SS are 5kg/mm and 4kg/mm

The NISMO kit is a set of front and rear springs and dampers.

The only website I know of that has then is Yahoo Auction - used parts.

I picked up a set (yet to be fitted) that had only been used for 4,000km for 20,000Yen or 100 quid. Other than a little dirt they look as good as new. Also mine included top mounts nd bump stops pre-assemblied so will blot straight on - not bad considering the original kit cost 100,000Yen or 500 quid just for springs and dampers.
Look here:
http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r47800440
Other people on here have bought yahoo stuff in the UK, do a search to find out how.
BTW it is meant to lower the car by 30mm front and rear.

Thanks, Looks like stock with colorful finishing and a premium logo. I have noticed this on other NIsmo suspension bars as well...
