Hello,

Was wondering how boost pressure was supposed to hold on a stock car. Made a dyno health check and saw my car boosting 0,5bar but after reving 5k it starts to rise up to 0,7.
Thinking theres a fault with the boost regulation. Going to try wastegate pressure next time. Is the 0,5Bar in the beginning correct? Could remember something like 0,5bar is the wastegate pressure and it should be higher with a working solenoid.

Thanks

I think that's about right. As stock, I think the car boosts less in first gear

Yes, came to the same understanding after i had consulted with my colleagues about it. Apparently STIs and EVOs go super rich too at the end. At first i though that may indicate a problem. Then saw an S14 on the dyno that was stock and done about the same boost wise. Although with another ECU. Anyway thanks for answering, just wanted to be sure.
