Ok, inspiration needed.

I previously had a pair of 50/50 rear lights which I removed and replaced with D-Max LED items.

Condensation formed within the right hand side tail light. I removed it, dried it out, checked seals, no issues and put it back in. Condensation returned.

So removed it, dried it out, resealed the light with butyl tape. Put the light back in. The condensation returned.

It came out again. Dried it again. Stripped the butyl tape off, resealed again with fresh tape. Checked the light socket grommets, put vaseline around the grommets. Guess what - the condensation returned!!!!

What can I do to sort this out for good?

This is doing my head in. Help me S15oc, you're my only hope!

I am having the same issue as you !! Decided too in the next couple weeks that I’m going to throughly strip them and have all the LED’s repaired aswell.

I'm starting to think that replacement is the only solution. And that means buying a brand new set. :-(

The really annoying thing is that the 50/50 non-LED lights I swapped out never had one hint of condensation build up.

Any other ideas folks?
