Hello everyone,

So I noticed some oily residue around where my breather pipe connects from the rocker cover to the turbo intake elbow so today I decided to investigate.

After taking the clamp off the rocket cover end I gave the pipe a wiggle to see if it was loose or anything and basically it was so loose I thought it had completely split around the other clamp, I pulled it up expecting just the hose to come out. Turns out the whole bit the pipe connects to has come out of the intake elbow.

Would I need a whole new intake elbow to sort it? Surely it shouldn’t be that loose?

Thanks , Ash

Get yourself a catch can/oil separator to stop that blow by oil going into your intake system, that's why there is an oily residue which coats your intercooler, plenum etc robbing you of power..
