"Trunk release"

I know I'm kinda stating obvious, but on the back rest of my rear seats there is a small round yellow hole with "trunk release" stamped into it.

inside there appears to be a button of sorts which did nothing when pressed (boot was closed at the time) is there meant to be some kind of cable release running from there to the catch?

I think you will find it refers to the rear fold down seat allowing you to access the boot to release it manually if the cable breaks...

"Trunk release"

It should release the fold down seat when you stick you finger in ooohh errr lol.

Just saves you going into the car to release the seat should you need more space in the boot.

That makes sense...I thought it actually worked other way around (having managed to disengage the boot lock before) saving having to climb through ski hatch :thumbs:
